Founding & Executive Team
The driving force behind SCF’s vision, strategy, and day-to-day direction.
Alhassan Tahiru
Alhassan is a PhD researcher in Global Governance and Human Security at the University of Massachusetts Boston, where his work focuses on conflict, governance, and community resilience in West Africa. He founded Spread Care Foundation to bridge rigorous academic research with practical, grassroots community action across Ghana.
As Executive Director, Alhassan sets the strategic direction of SCF, leads external partnerships and fundraising, and ensures the organisation remains true to its founding mission — placing communities at the centre of everything it does.
Mansuur Husein
Mansuur serves as the operational backbone of Spread Care Foundation. He manages day-to-day operations, coordinates program logistics across the organisation’s active initiatives, and maintains strong relationships with community stakeholders on the ground in Ghana.
His work ensures that SCF’s programs run smoothly — from coordinating volunteers and field activities to liaising with partner organisations and local authorities to maximise community reach and impact.
