Common Questions

Partnership FAQs

Answers to the questions we get most often from prospective partners.

Does SCF accept partnerships from organisations outside Ghana?

Absolutely. We actively welcome international partnerships. Many of our most valuable collaborations are with organisations, diaspora groups, and institutions outside Ghana who want to contribute to development in Northern Ghana. Geography is no barrier to meaningful partnership.

Is there a minimum financial commitment required?

No. We understand that not every partnership is financial. We value in-kind contributions — skills, expertise, networks, time, media coverage, and more. Each partnership is structured around what you can genuinely offer and what makes sense for both parties.

How does SCF ensure transparency with partners?

Transparency is a core value at SCF. All financial partners receive regular reporting on how funds are used and what outcomes were achieved. We maintain clean financial records managed by a dedicated Finance Lead and are happy to share reports, budgets, and programme data with partners.

Can we co-design a programme or initiative together?

Yes — and this is often how our most impactful partnerships are born. If you have an idea for a programme or project you’d like to develop with us, we’re very open to that. We bring community knowledge, local relationships, and delivery capacity; you bring your expertise, resources, or network. Together, we design and deliver something meaningful.

How long does a typical partnership last?

Partnerships vary in length depending on their nature. Some are project-specific and last a few months; others are long-term strategic collaborations. We don’t lock partners into rigid timeframes — instead, we build relationships that continue for as long as there’s mutual value and impact being created.
